It was such a joy to be able to take these photos for this family of three- soon to be family of four! I really loved meeting up with him in one of my favorite spots to take some beautiful maternity photos of Mama and some photos of all them with their first before their next little one arrives.They drove out to Livermore for their session all the way from a nearby town and I was so thrilled to get to chat with them during their session. It was a joy to be able to capture this stage in their families as their Livermore maternity photographers.
Although the air was a little bit smokey from nearby wildfires, the photos still turned out incredibly beautiful. As much as I hate wildfire season here in California, it does provide such a soft light to photograph in. Mama wore a gorgeous long pink dress that perfectly complemented her baby bump and Big Sis was wearing a darling dress too. Sister enjoyed playing in the rocks and sticks, which I loved! It’s so fun when kids are in their own element during sessions, it provides me with the opportunity to photograph them just how they are day-to day!
I’m so thrilled for this family to grow! There’s something so special about adding another member to your family and being able to see your firstborn become a big sibling. And of course us as parents get the blessing of seeing our own hearts grow to twice the size when we welcome another little one!
