I adored this sweet maternity session for this mom and dad to be! They were the sweetest clients, and I loved chatting with them about their excitement at welcoming a baby boy into this world. It was such an honor to be recommended to them by one of their friends to be their Oakland Maternity photographer. It always warms my heart when people see my work and then refer me to their friends and family too. Even if they haven’t hired me themselves. I always appreciate people speaking so kindly of my work. They chose this gorgeous spot in the East Bay for their session, and I was so glad they did. With the late autumn sun dipping slowly down the horizon, we got to share some sweet time together taking photos of them. I loved Ilda’s beautiful white dress with petite floral details on it. She is such a beauty and is seriously glowing in all of her photos! Scroll below to see for yourself. Her outfit was the perfect compliment to the golden grass and hills that surround this location. Some of my favorite photos from this session are of them in front of that big oak tree. I just adore the way the sun has a hazy presence in those ones. And the little pop of green it gives these photos.
I am so excited that I get to see this family again soon and meet their new little guy at their newborn session soon! I love getting to walk and document this phase of life with clients. It’s so special to get to capture those beautiful bumps and new sweet little newborns!
