This maternity session was everything that dreams were made of and more! It was so amazing and I have some many beautiful photos from it that i’ll be sharing them in two separate blog posts! So here is part one of this amazing maternity photo session. Jessie wanted to do her photos at Filoli, which is one of my favorite places for sessions! The grounds are so gorgeous. And there are so many amazing places there for photos. I arrived before their Filoli Maternity Photography session started to scout out some of my favorite spots. I was not disappointed!
Jessie wore a gorgeous light blue dress from Pinkblush maternity. Which was the perfect soft compliment to the greens and florals around them. We started their session in a field of daffodils, and wandered from there. One of my favorite things about Filoli is that it not only includes gorgeous foliage. But there are also some darling settings as well. The steps to the house and brick walls create some amazing backdrops. And those things also really help to implement beautiful levels into photos. Something that you don’t always get in a strictly outdoor location.
Jessie and Rob were such amazing clients. They were happy to walk around the place to find the best spots for photos. Jessie even recommended taking some photos out in the fields beyond the gardens. I had never shot in these fields before, but let me just say. Those fields are like the location of my dreams! Tall, green grass, hills behind, and big old oak trees. All some of my favorite elements for photos. I’ll stop my rambling now. But scroll on below for more of their maternity photos. And stay tuned next month for Part 2 of their session!
