Here we are with the final installment of this series that I am calling, the most beautiful workshop session in the world. I have so many amazing photos from this session that you can find Part 1 and Part 2 at their corresponding links below. As an Oakland Newborn Photographer it is sessions and experiences like this that inspire me so much! They really are the fuel for my artistic vision and creativity. I was so blessed with both this experience and the workshop as well as the opportunity to be this mama’s newborn photographer during the shootout portion.

Like I stated above, this session was so inspiring to me. It was inspiring knowing that someday, if I dream and work hard enough, I could have a garden studio like this of my own. It was inspiring to just shoot film at this workshop, and have that anticipation of how it will turn out. Which leads me to a funny story about the film from this workshop. When I shipped it, it got lost in the mail! I was so frazzled when I checked the tracking to see that after a few days it had only ever had the “label created” status updated. Panicking, I called UPS and thankfully they were very on it trying to locate my film! By the end of the day they had found the package and it was on its merry way to Photovision to be processed and scanned.

Although the lost film experience was not ideal, I was so thankful for how UPS handled it. And I was reassured why I continue to ship with them. Tangent aside, this session was so gorgeous and I’ve been able to implement a lot of the things I learned from it with my newborn sessions. I continue to be able to use the tools that Alex equipped me with and am so thankful for her teaching and advice! If you want to see more from the workshop, check out the photos here and here
