This sweet newborn session was so incredible! I was honored to be able to be this family’s bay area baby photographer and take newborn photos for this little guy! His older fur sibling was included in some of the photos as well, which was so sweet! Their home was so beautiful and as a baby photographer that makes my job extra sweet.

The day of their session was a bit cloudy here and there, but that didn’t mean that this session turned out any less beautiful! We started the session in the darling nursery, which was so thoughtfully decorated. I love being able to see all the different nursery themes and ideas for little babes. It’s so fun to see what mama’s and dad’s come up with. From simple spaces to extravagant designs, they’re all so unique and fitting to each family. Then we headed into their master bedroom for some photos of them as a family on the bed. I love these cozy shots of them all snuggled up.

And finally we ended their session by their sliding window in their kitchen. Sliding windows are becoming one of my favorite places to put a family in their homes for photos. It provides such amazing lighting and I love how it creates a soft and romantic feel for the photos. It’s the perfect blank slate in my opinion for letting the people in the images shine instead of what’s around them!
