I had posted part one of this workshop a while ago, but I just had to post more from it now. I had so many good images from this session that I couldn’t help but share in multiple blog posts. What a dream of this session was as a Walnut Creek newborn photographer. This mama and her sweet baby were so beautiful and the natural light coming in for their session was such a dream. I love being a newborn photographer for this reason, it’s such a special time to be able to capture a mama and her new little boy.

Baby boy was so snuggly and sweet, and he even dozed off for most of the session. Even being surrounded with the clicking of shutters he was safe and cozy in his mama’s arms. I loved mama’s long dress from Anthropologie. And the little guy wore the cutest gauzy onesie. Textured fabrics photograph so well, and they add a little extra something to photos. They kept their wardrobe simple, which was the perfect compliment to the minimal studio.

Shooting in this natural light studio was so amazing, and definitely made me dream of owning my own studio someday. A little shed in the yard that I can use for sessions and welcome mama’s, kiddos, and families into. One day I really hope that dream comes true, but until then I will just enjoy these beautiful images from this workshop this past fall!
