This family session was a long time coming! I was so excited as a San Jose Family Photographer to finally see it come to fruition. It was almost a year in the making, and boy was it postponed so many times. I honestly can’t even remember all of the different things that happened that made us postpone. But as a family photographer it was bound to happen. There was sickness, inclement weather, a bike accident and recovery, and not to mention a global pandemic. But it eventually happened and I was so glad!
Usually there are optimal and not so optimal times of day for photos. But I have found a gem of a spot here in town that is a beautiful location no matter the time of day. This spot is gold because it is so beautiful, and the lighting isn’t too harsh in the middle of the day like most spots would be. We took these photos around 1pm and I honestly really like this spot at that time of day. The Sun is overhead and provides such good lighting amongst the tall eucalyptus trees.
Linda and her family wore some beautiful blue hues for their photos, and it was the perfect complement to the greenish blue leaves of the trees around them. It was so sweet to finally meet them and update their family photos for them! I believe she had said they hadn’t had family photos done in years. So it was such a treat to be chosen by them for these!
